Information we collect from visitors
Visitors to each of our Web sites can access the Web site's home page, and browse some areas of the site, without disclosing any Personal Information, including e-mail address. We do track information provided to us by your browser, including the Web site you came from (known as the referring URL), the type of Web browser you use, the time and date of access, and other information that does not personally identify you. On some of our sites, you must register to access portions of the site. In addition, we gather information about your computer that is automatically collected by our Web server, such as your Internet Protocol address and domain name. Information we collect when you register
Visitors registering for services on select Web sites are asked to provide Personal Information, including their contact information, such as name, address, e-mail address; sensitive information, such as credit card number and other information about you, such as gender and age. In some instances, we may ask you for alternate contact information where you provide the name and phone number of an additional family member or friend for service contact purposes. On the registration screen, we clearly label which information is required for registration, and which information is optional and may be given at your discretion. Our Web sites obtain visitors' consent before collecting Personal Information.
If you are a physician or other healthcare professional registering on one of our Web sites, we will also ask for professional information such as office contact information.
Information from outside sources
We may also collect information about physicians or other healthcare professionals who register on our Web sites from other sources in order to verify their professional status and identity. In some cases, when we ask customers for sensitive information, such as credit card information to process an order for a purchase, we contact financial or credit organizations to confirm customer credit card information.
From time to time, we may augment our existing user databases with legally obtained information from third parties. Some of this information may be personally identifiable, such as national change of address information.
We also collect information that you voluntarily provide to us on our Web sites, such as demographic information, health information through responses to surveys or questionnaires, and information you provide using search functions and other forms of feedback. For example, on some of our Web sites we offer health assessment tools that ask you questions to help provide self-assessment information, such as types of allergies.

Uses and Disclosures
We gather aggregate data about visitors to our Web sites for product and service development and Web site improvement activities. We also use it for market analysis. We may provide information from our Web sites in aggregate form, with Personal Information (including e-mail address) removed, to third parties. We pool information from many individual records and strip it of any data that could be used to identify an individual before it is used.

Where our Web sites post testimonials from individuals that display their Personal Information, such information is displayed with their consent. If you use a bulletin board, such as posting items for sale, or similar open forums on Intervet Inc. sites, you should be aware that any personally identifiable information you submit there can be read, collected, or used by other users of these forums, and could be used to send you unsolicited messages. We do not sell, share or rent your Personal Information (including e-mail address) with third parties for marketing or secondary purposes or in ways other than disclosed in this Online Privacy Notice.
We will share Personal Information (including e-mail address) with third parties who perform certain functions on our behalf, such as credit card processors, shipping agents, and e-mail service or Web hosting providers, and only to fulfill a specific function. At times, you will directly provide personal information to third parties working on behalf of Intervet Inc. For example, such third parties may operate, or collect personal information, through Intervet Inc. branded websites that will gather contact information to fulfill your request for a specific service or product information from Intervet Inc. Tell-A-Friend or E-mail-A-Friend
If you choose to use a referral function to tell a friend about a Intervet Inc. Web site or product, our Web site will ask you for your friend's name and e-mail address, as well as your Personal Information, including your e-mail address. The form is automatically sent to your friend as a one-time e-mail inviting him/her to visit the site. We do not access or store this information, except to send this invite.
Uses of Cookies and Internet Tags
On some Internet properties we may use Internet tags (also known as action tags, single-pixel GIFs, clear GIFs, invisible GIFs and 1-by-1 GIFs) in combination with cookies at this site and may deploy these tags through a third-party advertising partner. These tags are placed on both online advertisements that bring users to the site, and on different pages of the site. We use this technology to measure the visitors' responses to our sites and the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns (including how many times a page is opened and which information is consulted). Use of IP Addresses
An Internet Protocol (IP) address is a set of numbers that is automatically assigned to your computer whenever you log on to your Internet service provider (ISP) or through your organization's local area network (LAN) or wide area network (WAN). Web servers automatically identify your computer by the IP address assigned to it during your session online.
We reserve the right to disclose your Personal Information, including e-mail address, as required by law and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on our Web site(s).

The numbers that are translated into a domain name (e.g., progressive.com). The address is a string of four numbers separated by periods (such as 184.108.40.2064) used to represent a computer or other device on the Internet.
The option giving the consumer complete control over the collection and dissemination of his/her Personal Information. A site that provides this option is stating that it will not gather or track Personal Information about the consumer unless he/she knowingly provides such information and consents to the collection and use of such information. The company must have the consumer's permission prior to collecting or using the information.
